October 2009, Project team completes a consultation and awareness trip in B. Atoll. In this trip project team visited all thirteen islands of Baa. Atoll. The Island Development Committees, Women Development Committee & NGOs of all islands was introduced to the new project vision document as well the findings of the Economic valuation study, Presentation on Zonation and Biosphere Reserve followed by discussions  also was carried out with the same groups.

During this trip the project team carried out an interactive awareness session with each islands school students with the objective of introducing the project and biodiversity conservation.
